Hands on activities are a way for students to become engaged in a lesson while also being in charge of the way they interpret the given information. When teachers teach a lesson in more than one method, the students are able to absorb and retrieve the information being received. Students who have difficulty learning tend to stay on task more often when they are apart of the learning process and not just spectators.
